Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced that an unidentified object flying over northern Canada has been hit.

“I have ordered the downing of an unidentified object that violates Canadian airspace,” Trudeau said on Twitter.

According to Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand, The object dropped was “cylindrical” and was flying over the northwest of the country at an altitude of about 12,000 metres.. He said it poses a threat to civil aviation.
