Fans of techno… otherworldly music can feast their ears with the new songs included in the official soundtrack of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, video game published on October 26 by Square Enix that gives a lot of attention to the soundtrack, just like the Marvel Studios movies that indirectly inspired it. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Welcome to Knowhere EP Original Video Game Soundtrack now also includes six EDM-influenced tracks that combine pauses, beats, alien vocals and earth-shattering basslines to rock every dance floor, in every galaxy. Additionally, in response to numerous fan requests, the EP also features “The Huddle” – the group’s power-up rock song, as well as Spaghetti Western-influenced music for the karaoke showdown with infamous smuggler Lipless.
A fan favorite, Knowhere is the bustling mining haven in the mind of a dead celestial being, filled with places to drink, gamble and reflect. Our group of misfits visit Knowhere on his adventure, providing players with an unforgettable and whimsical experience as they explore this infamous destination. Music was key to making Knowhere feel alive, with each destination visited having its own signature sound. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Welcome to Knowhere EP Original Video Game Soundtrack brings this music together and features six otherworldly, weird and wonderful tracks, inspired by otherworldly techno, dark and creepy industrial, new age synthesized sound.
All featured pieces were composed, performed and produced by Bafta and Ivor Novello-nominated composer Richard Jacques, and the bonus EP will be available for free on all major streaming platforms from April 8, 2022.

I’m excited that all fans can now hear these songs and hear the full range of music we’ve created for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. I grew up listening to everything from dance to rock, classical to synth, just to name a few. This game celebrates musical diversity and I was fortunate enough to have the freedom to compose a soundtrack with Eidos-Montréal that showcases everyday inspiration, influences and eclecticism rooted in modern music.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Welcome to Knowhere EP Original Video Game Soundtrack complements the in-game music in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and complements the previously released original orchestral soundtrack, the full-length album by the Star-Lord- band and licensed music from the 80s.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is now available for PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One, PC and streaming via GeForce NOW. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version for Nintendo Switch is only available in select regions.
