Warner Bros. Games has the first official gameplay video (almost 15 minutes long) from Hogwarts Legacythe open-world action RPG set in the Wizarding World of the 1800s and developed by Avalanche Software, along with a backstage commentary from the creative minds behind the game’s creation.
The gameplay provides an in-depth look at the game mechanics, including character creation, and showcases the wide variety of spells, adventures, missions, locations, and characters that players will encounter as students of Hogwarts.
Hogwarts Legacy is infused with immersive magic that puts players at the center of their adventure. As a fifth-year student with the rare ability to master ancient and powerful magic, players will experience never-before-seen stories and embark on a perilous journey to discover a hidden truth of the wizarding world. Over the course of the adventure, they will develop their character’s skills by mastering powerful spells, brewing potions, and collecting magical plants while battling deadly enemies. Along the way, they will make new friends who can join them, interact with the school’s professors, and challenge threats that could jeopardize the future of those with magical abilities.
Hogwarts Legacy is slated for a winter 2022 release and the game will be published by Warner Bros. Games through the Portkey Games label. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC.
