The analysts concluded that private investors in Russia prefer risky strategies and second- and third-tier companies. Every second survey participant indicated that they do not adhere to a long-term investment plan in today’s realities.
About a third of those surveyed (30%) are willing to invest in certain instruments for no more than six months or a year, another 15% for a maximum of three months, 4% for one month and 2% for a maximum of three months. shorter periods. . 20% of respondents are willing to invest for a period of three years or more.
For half of the survey participants, the optimal amount of investment is up to 100 thousand rubles per year (in particular, 26% – 50-100 thousand rubles, 23% – up to 50 thousand rubles).
A little less, 41%, prefer to invest amounts of up to half a million rubles. And only one in ten invests more than 500 thousand rubles a year.

The experts also found a correlation between the age of the investor and the size of the investment. Respondents under the age of 23 mostly invest up to 100,000 rubles (56%). Among those who are older, the ratio of investors to younger investors is 44%.

Men more often than women prefer large investments. 54% are willing to allocate more than 100,000 rubles for investments, and less than half of them among women.
Additionally, men are slightly more likely to consider long-term investments after one year (48% among women, 51% among men).
