According to analytics service CoinGecko, people’s interest in AI-related jobs is five times higher than similar demand in the crypto industry, even if we take the latter’s peak values, when bitcoin was worth $69,000.
The CoinGecko analytics service has published the results of a new study on the popularity of artificial intelligence among job seekers. According to this data, jobs with “AI” in the title are sought five times more than jobs with cryptocurrencies in 2021, when blockchain was at the peak of its popularity and bitcoin cost $69,000.
Prior to the release of the public version of ChatGPT in November 2022, the popularity of AI-related jobs was reported to be roughly on the same level as jobs in the crypto industry, gaining around 20 “points of interest” in the Google ranking. According to Google Trends, the query “AI Jobs” now has more than 100 points in the service rating.
Interestingly, Singapore residents are more interested in such vacancies. In the second and third place in terms of the number of applications are the United Arab Emirates and Nigeria.
