Beta version 4 of Android 14 was released by Google, the last version before the definitive OS. The stable software release is scheduled for August in line with the big tech’s busy schedule.
The main detail in the update is an easter egg spotted by Android researcher Mishaal Rahman. The surprise shows the operating system logo in space, initiating an interactive galactic navigation.
Houston, do we have a take off??! The new Easter egg will delight all space simulation enthusiasts here and there in Android 14 Beta 4. I don’t know what the hell I’m doing but here’s a first look at the new Easter egg! I bet @dsandler I had so much fun with this. pic.twitter.com/nhfravAG8S

To access the Easter egg you need to go to ‘Settings’. From there, click ‘About Phone’ and ‘Android Version’. Click the version number several times and the space icon appears.
Despite the amusing surprise, there is no big news in beta 4 of Android 14. Google focused mainly on fixing bugs in addition to making formatting changes.
Most of the final features are already known, as the previous beta already had some stability. However, Google has registered special functions for its Pixel phones.
In fact, all phones in the series released after Pixel 4a 5G can now be updated to Android 14 beta 4. This includes Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet. Although this is the last beta before the final release, Google could release version 4.1 in a few weeks.
