The settlement comes after a US court rejected the US Federal Trade Commission’s latest attempt to block a settlement between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.
Previously, Sony had opposed Microsoft’s offer of a 10-year deal to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation consoles.
Expressing their satisfaction with the agreements reached, both institutions emphasized that they will continue to work for “Call of Duty to remain open to more players on various platforms”.
Recall that a similar agreement was made between Microsoft and Nintendo as part of the proceedings.
