Google wraps up 18 years of operation in Brazil this Wednesday (20). The exploration giant’s arrival in the national territory took place on July 20, 2005, with the opening of the first office in Belo Horizonte (MG).

Currently, big tech has three units in the country. In addition to the office in the capital, Minas Gerais, there are two more in São Paulo (SP). The latest of these opened last month and has more than 6,700 m² of space to house the Google Cloud team and new product engineering team, and software, among other areas.
