Sheikin explained that the idea was developed during the work of the Department for the Development of the Digital Economy within the Federation Council, and then presented to the Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu. The proposal received support, including from the Ministry of Education.

According to the plan, from September 1, schoolchildren in military training classes will begin to learn the basics of using drones.

Earlier, engineers from the Swiss company RigiTech introduced a new technology for dropping cargo from unmanned aircraft. It provides centimeter precision air transmission.
