The American electric car manufacturer Tesla has presented an updated version of its most popular car, the Model 3. It will be produced for the markets of China, Japan, the Middle East, Australia and Europe, writes Reuters.
The new modification has a higher power reserve than the previous version. Mileage on a single charge increases by 9% and will be 606 km. The new Model 3 will have a more advanced sound system, the automaker claims. Also, the back seat was equipped with its own screen.
To improve aerodynamic properties, the company has slightly changed the design of the front part of the body.
The starting price of the car will be 12% higher than that of the previous version, it will be 35.8 thousand dollars, and production will begin in Shanghai. The Model 3 is already available for pre-order and deliveries to the Chinese market will begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
In early July, Tesla introduced the first Cybertruck electric pickup truck. The company announced the launch of the car in 2019.
