In the Greenbox mass food poisoning case, the first defendant appeared: the production director of JSC Green Box. Investigators are looking for others involved: In early September, more than 270 people were poisoned by food purchased at Greenbox, and in several cases, experts found salmonella bacteria.
The St. Petersburg Investigative Committee brought charges against the production director of JSC Green Box for the provision of services that did not meet safety requirements. In its message, the Investigative Commission did not name the accused, but indicated that it was a girl born in 1985.
On September 11, the court registered a case of mass food poisoning from the Greenbox company, purchased through Samokat. More than 270 people were poisoned, including three children. In 58 cases of poisoning, specialists found the salmonella bacteria.
On September 14, a court in St. Petersburg suspended the activities of Green Box JSC for two months. The company was reported to have partially admitted to the violations.
