As the scientist noted, the Sun appears to be holding back some of its energy and will reach its peak activity in the spring of next year. Bogachev also clarified that his words were not a prediction: modern scientific models of magnetic storms can provide accurate information for no more than three days.

“We are seeing an increase in solar activity. And we confirm that the maximum has not been reached yet, it is ahead. In general, autumn is expected to be active, we should expect stronger eruptions and stronger geomagnetic storms,” explained the expert.
