Google Assistant is now more “turbocharged” thanks to Bard’s Artificial Intelligence (AI). Google announced this Wednesday (4) that the software will be available via text on Android and iPhone (iOS) mobile phones, but chat with users will also be possible.
The new feature is called Assistant with Bard and is based on generative artificial intelligence. This is a mix of what Bard can do with Assistant’s existing technology. This way, users will be able to speak or type into the software and receive more contextual and conversational responses.
It will be possible to ask for help in writing documents and e-mails, as it is integrated with services such as Gmail and Docs, among the available resources.
Google says the experience should be richer due to more direct integration on Android mobiles compared to the iPhone. According to the company, the user will be able to take a photo, open the Assistant and ask it to write a post to be published on social networks.
The proposal is that with Bard’s technology, the mobile phone can “see” the image to understand its context. The company says that this feature “has your privacy in mind” and that users can choose whether to use it or not.
Google, which does not have an exact date yet, says that Assistant with Bard will be released “in the coming months.” But initially, it will be available to some testers before reaching the general public.
