A new food technology application, GoldenEgg, has appeared in Russia, allowing restaurants to promote and target the required target audience. Representatives of the service told RB.RU.

GoldenEgg, an AI-based foodtech application for restaurants, was launched in Russia

GoldenEgg will serve as an alternative to foreign social networks blocked in Russia, which until 2022 provided important audience coverage for business promotion.

The app is powered by AI, artificial intelligence helps customers find the right establishment or desired dishes and read reviews. At the same time, the platform itself is organized as a social network: GoldenEgg users can share their findings, gain subscribers, and send them push notifications. They also have the opportunity to create their own establishment ratings.

Connecting to GoldenEgg is free for restaurants and bloggers, but the service will also have paid features. This involves sending push notifications to all users. In the free version, push notifications can only be sent to the establishment’s subscribers. The same applies to push notifications for bloggers.

Additionally, for an additional fee, you can activate priority placement in advertising and search banners on the home page. In the future, the service will add restaurant card editing by its official representatives. They will be able to talk about promotions, seasonal offers and news from the establishment.

The founders of the service are former top manager of Leroy Merlin and businessman Farid Abiev and his wife, fashion historian and fashion tour organizer Milana Abieva.

At first, the couple talked about their experience visiting restaurants in a small Telegram channel, and then the idea of an independent gastronomic application arose. According to Farid Abiev, the main advantage of GoldenEgg is its transparency.

“There is a whole team working on the platform, which collects comments from bloggers and manually filters advertising posts. In the future this process will be automated,” says the founder.

He also added that the project was initially created for his own needs, however, when the service turned out to be useful to other people, it was decided to expand it.
