Business Insider ranked the 100 most influential people in artificial intelligence. 85 of them were born or permanently reside in the United States, 43 represent startups, 4 represent the venture capital market.
Business Insider has compiled a list of the 100 most influential people in the field of artificial intelligence. These are people who, for example, have reinvented business models using AI, limited the harm of its use or eliminated negative consequences.
“Insider set out to identify the people behind AI: those who create it, use it, and think carefully about the risks associated with it,” the project page says.
It is noteworthy that 85 people on the list are people born or permanently residing in the United States, noted Fort Ross Ventures director Denis Efremov. Another 7 are from Canada and two from the United Kingdom.
43 members of the list represent startups. Seven of them work in the field of generative artificial intelligence and six in biotechnology.
According to Business Insider, 25 members of the “top 100 people in AI” are representatives of corporations. 14 are scientists or researchers, four are venture capital market players.
