The FDA began sounding the alarm that scores of Americans were falling ill after using dozens of eye drop brands made in India. These drugs were sold at major retailers such as Walmart, CVS, Target and Rite Aid.
People developed eye infections after using the drops, leading to increased vision loss or even loss of vision in some cases.
The FDA also issued a report stating that droplets were contaminated with a variety of aggressive pathogens due to poor plant sanitation practices as workers walked barefoot on the factory floor and handled equipment and raw materials with dirty hands. And the health test reports turned out to be lies.
Therefore, FDA banned the sale of all the drugs of Kilitch Healthcare India Ltd. in America. The company is also required to recall all discounts currently on sale.
