The new centers will be located in three regions: Irbeysky, Sukhobuzimsky and Uzhursky, where it is planned to produce up to 69 thousand seeds per year for various agricultural products.
Additionally, a selection and seed production center for agricultural products is being built in the Emelyanovsky district with an investment of more than 709 million rubles. According to plans, by 2028 its capacity will allow to produce up to 20 thousand tons of seed material per year, significantly increasing the current volume of 8 thousand tons.
The development of seed production in the region is also supported by federal and regional budgets, providing farmers with a partial reimbursement of the costs of seed production and agrotechnological work. Government incentives will be provided for various agricultural research programs.
