Wildberries began working with manufacturers and sellers in China. They will directly supply their products to the platform for all countries where the market is present. RBC writes about this with reference to the founder of the site, Tatyana Bakalchuk.

Russian wild berries entered the Chinese market

Business in Russia is a priority for the company. Foreign market activities now account for about 10% of the company’s total turnover, with just over 90% taking place in the Russian Federation.

Wildberries’ plans to enter the Chinese market became known in August 2023. In the last two years, Wildberries has also registered its trademark in India, Mongolia, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Afghanistan and North Korea. The company has also filed similar applications in Singapore and Thailand.

  • At the end of summer, Wildberries entered the Azerbaijani market. This is the eighth country in which the company operates. The product range includes 5 million items.
  • Now Wildberries operates in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Israel and Uzbekistan.
