The key barrier to the technology is the heterogeneity of information systems data, the authors of the work point out. At the same time, the companies themselves are not willing to point to this factor as the main reason.
Most often, representatives of organizations cited the lack of need to use AI (29%), the lack of information about its capabilities (27%), and the lack of infrastructure (22%).
Analysts explain: Data fragmentation is the primary source and top-tier driver of bottlenecks businesses are talking about, as well as the complete abandonment of AI.
