Lenovo has published a video demonstrating its laptop with a transparent screen.
As part of the MWC 2024 electronics exhibition, the company presented a new product with two screens. The main 17.3-inch MicroLED display offers 55% transparency. As they get smaller, the pixels decrease their transparency, resulting in a final screen brightness of 1000 nits.
The idea is to help artists or architects who really want to see what’s hiding under my side of the screen.

The second screen is located in place of the keyboard and replaces it. At the same time, the area can be turned into a graphics tablet.
Journalists note that this solution is very specific – such a keyboard is simply inconvenient to use in order to correctly type even a simple sentence.
This is just a concept model for now, and Lenovo isn’t sure it will make it to the mass market. At the moment, she is looking to realize technological opportunities. [The Verge]
