Cryptocurrency trading app Oyl has raised $3 million. The pre-funding round was led by Arca with participation from Arthur Hayes’ Maelstrom, Pavel Korolev’s Pulsar and other funds. This follows from Crunchbase data, to which RB.RU drew attention.

Oyl was founded in August 2023. Startup is committed development of a platform to buy Bitcoin directly from Oyl Wallet.

The funds received from the investment round will be used to perfect Oyl Wallet and scale it to the international cryptocurrency market.

On March 4, 2024, the Bitcoin rate rose to a two-year high, exceeding $65 thousand per Bitcoin. The previous record was set in November 2021, when Bitcoin was just one cent away from reaching $69,000.
