Yandex has selected a new business group, which includes Kinopoisk, Yandex.Music, Yandex.Afisha, Yandex.Plus, as well as the fintech direction of the company. The division will be headed by Yandex CEO Artem Savinovsky.
“These services have similar business solutions and common goals – they all bring together key Yandex services with end-to-end scenarios. <…>. The merger will allow the services of the business group to be developed centrally, and will make it easier for the business units included in it to generate joint products under a single management," the company said in a statement.
The new business group will be led by Yandex CEO Artem Savinovsky, who will combine both positions. Fintech services will be managed by Dmitry Pirogov.
This is the third business group within the IT holding company: Yandex is already developing a search, advertising and cloud services group, as well as an e-commerce and travel technology group.
