In Russia, the NomerApp application has appeared, where users can scold or praise drivers for driving, parking and other actions on the road that evoke emotions. This was reported to RB.RU by a representative of NomerApp.

A service has appeared in Russia to create a “social rating” of car drivers

The service allows you to create car profiles that are linked to the registration number and leave comments on them; This is how, according to the developers, “a live social rating of the car is formed.”

The app also included a “traffic chat” mode for drivers to communicate during traffic jams.

The general director of the project is the co-founder of the IT company in the field of genealogy “Memory Code”, Artem Vasekin. It is reported that the initial investment in the project amounted to 5 million rubles.

Vasekin himself explains that the idea for the project arose “out of emotion.”

“Six months ago I was cut off by a car on the road again (I think something similar has happened to everyone) and the first thing I wanted to do was write down everything I think about the driver of the car. The question is where and what purpose it is for,” Vasekin said. “I wanted the driver, who remains incognito and feels unpunished, to receive a dose of hate from him. “So I thought it would be cool to create a kind of social classification linked to the car number.”

How does it work

Anyone can create a car number and leave a comment. At the same time, NomerApp does not store personal data: it is not possible to find out the official owner of the car through the service.

By entering the number of the car you are interested in, you will be able to see only the comments (interaction history) and photos associated with it.

“Traffic chat” is also available in NomerApp, a mode of communication for users who are in traffic jams. This chat appears automatically if there are more than three drivers nearby who have accounts in the app.
