The Chamber of Commerce and Industry proposed to the FAS to introduce mandatory labeling of all goods that are imported into Russia through parallel imports.
This would help to obtain original products from fake ones, the import of which has also increased noticeably.
The first and most acute problem of parallel imports, which many domestic companies that sell foreign goods, marketplaces and buyers face, is the increase in the volume of imports of counterfeit goods under the guise of original products.

Rospotrebnadzor supported the expansion of the labeling idea. Business representatives are against it.
Labeling of perfumery products, as well as some types of clothing, which has been working for several years, shows that this does not interfere with counterfeit goods – they are marked on them and sold in the same way.
