The management company VIM Investments JSC increased its share in the authorized capital of the Russian device rental service My Samokat LLC by 1.17 percentage points. This follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, to which RB.RU drew attention. At the time of publication, the company did not respond to the publication’s request.

In December 2022, My Samokat sold a majority stake in the company to a pre-IPO fund managed by VIM Investments. Since May 20, 2024, the fund’s share in the project increased from 89.66% to 90.83%, while for the founder of the company it decreased from 10.34% to 9.17%.

“My Samokat” operates under the brands “My Device” and “Twist the Wheels”. The startup was founded in 2020 by Alexey Mironov, Artem Serbovka and Ksenia Proka. The company started as a subscription rental service for electric scooters and later expanded to offer game consoles, bicycles and home exercise equipment. Now the key direction of the company is the rental of electric bicycles and bikes for couriers on a subscription basis.

According to the Kontur.Focus system, My Samokat LLC’s revenue in 2023 amounted to 285.6 million rubles, having increased by 33% over the year, the net loss amounted to 76.2 million rubles.

VIM Investments invested in projects such as GetCourse, Whoosh, Ventra, European Legal Service, Think24. The fund specializes in investing in technology and fast-growing companies.
