Apple has quietly updated the technical specifications page for the new iPad Air.
If earlier the company everywhere reported 10 graphics cores in the M2 chip, now only 9 cores are transferred. Geekbench tests conducted by iPhones.ru also show this.
Apple’s original press release still talks about a 10-core GPU. This is also stated on the technical support website.
What’s notable is that the iPad Air was the company’s first to ship with an M2 chip and 9 GPU cores. Previously there were versions with 8 and 10 cores. [9to5]
