The Russian Helicopters conglomerate, part of Rostec, could be a drone manufacturer. Unmanned helicopters will be designed according to the classic single-rotor design with tail rotors and will be designed for a payload of 200 kg. The vehicles will be equipped with a gyro-stabilized optoelectronic system, aiming system and 6 multi-directional cameras.
The UAVs will be armed with Kalashnikov tank machine guns with 550 ammunition, 8 unguided rockets and 16 anti-tank bombs.
According to Denis Fedutinov, a leading military expert in the field of drones, Russia does not have a serial helicopter type attack aircraft that would have an advanced set of weapons. As he noted, such helicopters will be useful in urban conflicts or in the foreground.
