As sources familiar with the details of the project told RBC, the new brand will be called Maxeed.

According to the publication’s interlocutor, the planned production volume is 120 thousand vehicles per year. He added that the car kits have already been delivered. First, they will launch the production of models with an internal combustion engine, then hybrid cars, after which they will launch the production of electric cars.

Earlier, Avtodom General Director Andrei Olkhovsky announced the start of production of cars under its own brand at the vacant Esipovo facility. According to him, up to eight models are planned to be launched on the market.
