The media writes that although Asus is a smaller player in the field of servers, it has attracted the attention of “hyperscalers” by surprising it with improvements in energy efficiency.

Asus senior vice president Jackie Hsu sees huge potential in this sector and hopes to achieve significant growth as demand for computing and artificial intelligence increases worldwide.

Hsu acknowledged that Asus’ small scale compared to its rivals as a server maker means it can’t always compete on price, but said customers are willing to pay.

“This is definitely a big growth area for us,” he told The Register.
