ASML, one of the main suppliers of EUV machines, aims to increase its supply by more than 30% by 2025, along with the expansion of TSMC’s production capacity.
Industry insiders report delays in the supply of EUV machines, with order completion times reaching 16-20 months. As a result, most orders placed in 2024 will not be completed until next year. TSMC is expected to purchase 30 EUV machines this year and 35 next year.
To meet the growing demand, ASML planned to increase its production capacity, planning to deliver a total of 53 machines this year and at least 72 next year. ASML plans to produce 90 EUV, 600 DUV and 20 High-NA EUV machines by 2025.
