Yandex Travels has launched a new section “Weekends”
The section contains all the information about the selected vacation spot: weather, attractions, event posters, etc. Information about events in the city will be automatically updated after changing the dates.
Users will be able to immediately book a hotel near places of interest and choose how to get there. For Moscow residents who want to relax in the Moscow region, Mezhgorod taxi fare is available. If your holiday destination is far from the city, air and train tickets are displayed.
In addition, all the features of “My Trip” are available in the city section: a poster of events during the trip, a selection of excursions, a map of attractions and restaurants near the hotel. A smart camera will help you find out more details about the attractions.
According to the service’s own data, the most popular destinations for weekend trips are cities and regions near Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as the Krasnodar Territory. They account for more than 55% of the total number of such trips.
