The Softline Group of Companies has acquired control of the IT holding OMZ-IT. Softline now owns 60% of the company’s capital; the amount of the transaction has not been disclosed, the company said in a statement.
OMZ-IT is a part of the OMZ Perspective Technologies Group, whose main shareholder is Gazprombank. The Group’s companies are developing solutions for the digitalization of industrial enterprises.
The acquisition of a stake in OMZ-IT will allow Softline to expand its presence in the technology market for the digital transformation of the industrial sector, the group of companies noted. The deal could provide up to 25% of the announced EBITDA growth.
In June 2024, the Softline structure acquired a controlling stake in MD Audit. The company develops systems for managing operational processes in retail chains.
