Wildberries plans to complete all construction work on a new warehouse in Shushary, Leningrad Region, by October 2024, according to the founder and CEO of the marketplace, Tatyana Bakalchuk.

Wildberries founder and CEO Tatyana Bakalchuk posted a video from the construction site of a new warehouse in Shushary, Leningrad Region.
Bakalchuk clarified that new structures have already been built on the site of the warehouse that burned down in January 2024. Preparations are currently underway for pouring floors and landscaping the surrounding area, the businessman said.
The Wildberries warehouse in Shushary burned down on January 14, 2024. On January 19, the market announced its intention to restore the warehouse. In March, Wildberries sellers whose products were destroyed in a fire received compensation for this.
In August, Wildberries began seeking contractors to design a fire safety system for all new and existing facilities in the market.
