The inDrive taxi ordering service, which was founded in Yakutsk by Arsen Tomsky, has closed a deal with the Master Delivery logistics platform, Business Wire reports.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Master Delivery team, responsible for the international expansion of the service, will move to inDrive. inDrive will buy the Master Delivery technology to manage delivery and fulfillment, as well as create a demand forecasting solution on existing b2b services (inDrive.Freight and inDrive.Couriers).

The amount of the settlement was not disclosed.

Master Delivery inDrive technologies are needed to expand delivery and courier services for small and medium-sized businesses. The service also plans to enter the corporate segment.

  • The Master Delivery delivery service operates in Russia under the Pryamikom brand. Co-founders include Yam Restaurants Russia, owner of the KFC chain, BCG Digital Ventures, and others.
  • inDrive is a taxi ordering service founded in Yakutsk by businessman Arsen Tomsky. Until October 2022, the service was called inDriver. At the end of May, it became known that inDrive would stop working in Russia. The team released the app under the new name Drivee.
  • In April, inDrive transferred ownership from a Russian legal entity to a structure in Kazakhstan. It was reported that the INDELS brand team would restart the service.
