After this, the user must link this data to a bank account in the updated SBPay application. In the future, each payment will be made “at a glance”, without additional actions on the part of a person.
This is the first stage of introducing biometric payment, which can be connected to different banks. At the same time, the cost of paying for tickets and cards is saved, and the passenger can independently choose the method that suits him best.
By the end of December, the new per-person payment system will be launched in Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and Samara, and in 2025, in St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk. There are also plans to expand the technology to shops and restaurants.
