Dell PowerEdge XE9680L servers are designed specifically for high-performance AI workloads and can efficiently process large amounts of data and run advanced applications. These servers feature direct liquid cooling and are designed in a variety of configurations, including a liquid-cooled format that can accommodate up to 72 Blackwell graphics chips in a single rack.

The Blackwell chip is built on a custom 4nm processor and has 208 billion transistors, making the device one of the most powerful chips on the market. Blackwell’s architecture features two GPUs connected via a fast 10TB/s chip-to-chip link, providing fast communication and very high performance. “These chips can process complex AI models, including trillions of parameters, and also reduce power consumption and costs by 25 times compared to older H100 models,” Neowin said.
