DJI recently launched the Air 3S drone, touted as the brand’s “most successful self-navigation” model. Its main innovation is Front-mounted LiDAR sensorAble to detect obstacles even in low light conditions and perceive them independently of the textures and colors of the environment.

The successor model of Air 3, versatile obstacle sensorsAccording to the manufacturer, it is capable of detecting obstacles in any direction, such as tall buildings, even at night and with only 1 lux illumination. Another addition is the environment mapping system even without a GPS signal.

With this improvement, the user Activate Return to Home functionality in underground car parks and inside propertiesensuring a safe return to base, among other places. According to the brand, the aircraft memorizes flight paths when adequate lighting is available.

DJI Air 3S also brings advanced features such as: flight with orbit and autopilotIt allows you to preset camera routes and actions and lock control pins to unleash creativity. Target focusing and 360° ActiveTrack are other features that contribute to more professional-looking recordings.
