Contrary to what it seems, google it would get in a bit of trouble in that regard android 12, with the new update of its operating system set to arrive on fewer devices than expected. As explained on the pages of droid lifewhich they analyzed thanks to From top to bottom the performance of all operating systems released by the research giant showed that the latest version is not particularly brilliant compared to the rest, although the reasons are clearly not clear to the public.

As it must be emphasized, Uptodown is a system with more than 130 million active users around the world who have been able to provide data, and therefore everything should be considered as a simple estimate and not as accurate and absolute numbers. This means that by analyzing the situation better, it could be more or less rosy, but also the results already confirmed certainly leave an idea about the performance of Android 12.

Analyzing the charts, it turns out that Android 11 is still at the top of the operating system “food chain” with a very solid 29.5%, followed by Android 10 which instead still gains 25.2%, very high numbers if we bear in mind that the systems are relatively old compared to the latest version. Android 12, on the other hand, would only be present on the 2.6% of users’ devices. In fact, this also seems to have been thrown out by Android 9 Pie with a presence of 11.5% and by Android 8.1 Oreo, which gains 11% instead.

Of course, this does not mean that Google’s new operating system is out of business, and indeed, as mentioned, the situation could look much better if we look at larger amounts of data. However, what emerges is that it will likely take longer than expected to arrive in all users’ phones, creating a gap with the company’s other systems.
