“As part of the consideration of cases, the antimonopoly body will verify the validity of prices for drinking water within the limits of two isolated areas (internal and international flights) of the Moscow airport,” said the Ofas.

The antitrust case was instituted under paragraph 1 of part 1 of article 10 of the federal law “on the protection of competence”. If the “Regstara-M” is declared guilty of violating antimonopoly legislation, the operator will have to pay a fine and reduce the price of drinking water sold in Vnukovo.

FAS began verifying the price of drinking water in Vnukovo in November 2024. The appeal for the audit was sent to the department by the Association of Professional Users of Social Networks and Messengers. According to the representatives of the association, the minimum cost of a half -liter water bottle in Vnukovo is 150 rubles, while outside the airport the cost of the same water bottle is 30 to 70 rubles.

Previously, on January 30, the FAS revealed a headphone sign in the markets. Its participants increased prices synchronously for products and together they fought against competitors, leaving negative reviews for their products and ordering their products to other regions or countries.
