Scientists from Mira RTU created a new medicine that helped to correctly detect cancer. It is different from previous analogs because it accumulates better in tumor cells, so that the tumors become more pronounced during examination. This opens new opportunities for early diagnosis and full detection of cancer.
This drug works three times better than previous analogs of the ability to accumulate in tumor cells. It also protects a bright glow for a long time, which makes it possible to use it during the process. The drug is activated with light with a wavelength of 660 nm, which penetrates the tissue to a depth of 15 mm. This allows you to detect tumors that used to be difficult to see.
Mouse tests have shown that a new drug gives a 3 -fold shiny glow than the old analogs. The reason for this high efficiency is a special structure of a new tool that helps to accurately accumulate in cancer cells. Scientists have already patented development and after additional tests, the drug may begin to be used to diagnose various types of cancer.
