Despite the popular view that screens are harmful to the brain and the soul, scientific data do not yet give a definite answer. Professor of Psychology, Pete Etchels, claims that many scary titles are based on weak or distorted results.

Lock problem is methodology. Most studies are based on their own reports: adolescents ask how much time they spend behind the screen and how they affect their mood.

However, this does not give an objective picture. In addition, the context is not taken into consideration: whether the child has watched the video of the training video, or whether he is playing alone or talking to his friends.

Some scientists, such as Jin Twenge, insist that gadgets are still necessary to limit children under 14-16 years of age. However, others believe that excessive prohibitions only increase interest and risks.

The current approach is not punishment, but is the conscious use of the technologies that parents help children find balance and what is on the screen critically.
