As described at the beginning of the study, Maria Surmeneva has a complex porous architecture with its bioactive nano, which protects the frames against corrosion and increases the compatibility with the body. Technology contains 3D printing frames and then contains high frequency magnetron spraying and coating.
One feature of development was the use of a alloy (56 atomic interest) with high niobium content. Laboratory tests have shown that such a composition stimulates the growth and collagen production of bone cells.
The project was implemented with the support of the Russian Science Fund with the participation of scientists from Russia, Romania, Greece, Germany and Sweden. Results are published at the International Journal Ceramics International.
