The bank’s client was informed about the innovation in the support service.

The Tinkoff Bank press service explained that the introduction of a commission is a forced measure.

“Our efforts were not enough to guarantee that the Western partners fulfill their part of the agreements in a reasonable and comfortable time for our clients; therefore, we are forced to introduce new measures to reduce fast transfers through Tinkoff,” the bank said.

The commission is introduced from August 15 for transfers from all countries except China and Armenia. The bank will take 3% of the transfer amount in the transfer currency (US dollar, euro, British pound), but not less than 200 conventional units.

There will be no fee for incoming transfers in Chinese Yuan. You can transfer US dollars and euros to Armenia without restrictions. It will be possible to transfer only US dollars to 74 banks in China without restrictions.

On July 6, Tinkoff Bank suspended all outgoing SWIFT transfers in foreign currency. The restriction is valid until October 1. At the end of June, the bank introduced a commission for holding foreign currency in brokerage accounts.
