Rostrud also noted that during the same period, the number of idle employees has more than tripled. More specifically, as of March 1, there were 39,000 such employees, and by July 1, this figure had risen to 125,500. Izvestia writes that 527 foreign companies were liquidated in the same period.

Experts believe that the main problem with the closure of the Russian divisions of foreign companies is the violation of the procedure for dismissing employees. In other words, experts say that even when the employee does not have such a desire, people are forced to leave the job of their own free will. Because it is easier for a company to carry out the liquidation procedure in a business without personnel: only the owners and beneficiaries of the liquidated company remain winners.
