The Russian structure of Heineken registered a series of declarations of conformity for a line of non-alcoholic carbonated drinks in the summer. Cola, orange and lemon flavored soft drinks are advertised under the names Royal Cola Original, Royal Cola Zero, Tony Lemony Orange and Tony Lemony Lemon.
The drinks can be bottled in glass bottles, plastic and aluminum cans. Heineken declined to comment, Kommersant reported.
According to the publication’s interlocutors, the expansion of the range can increase the value of the business, but rather it is a reaction to market changes.
Large companies ordered concentrates from European manufacturers, now imports are possible through Turkey and Kazakhstan. Heineken will be able to have new drinks on the shelves in a month and starting production will require a minimal investment. The lack of aluminum cans and the difficulties with the supply of CO2 can slow down the process.
On September 15, companies in the Vkusno-i Tochka chain began selling bottled Coca-Cola in portions. Now the drinks will be supplied under the Dobry brand and will be available to order in the same volumes: 0.25, 0.4 and 0.5 liters. During September, the drinks will be available at all network companies in Russia.
