WhatsApp messenger continues to receive updates on a future feature in the app: create polls in group chatsso that all participants in a conversation can give an opinion on something.

The idea is that users can use the function whenever they want, from deciding what to order for dinner to gaining insight into current topics throughout the conversation.

The first information about the implementation of the innovation appeared in March of this year, and a month later testing began with small groups of users. However, as the website states WABetaInfo As we review beta version 2.2216.2 of WhatsApp for desktop, the surveys are not yet ready to arrive on the app.

According to the analysis, it is now possible to schedule surveys for other times. However, some elements are still missing from the interface, including the specific percentage each alternative gets from the votes. At least privacy is already guaranteed: all calls, as well as chats, have end-to-end encryption, which means that the messenger’s servers do not interpret the stored information.

As tests have shown, the polls feature may be released for iOS and PCs first. However, there is still no estimation of when the functionality will be ready to arrive in the stable version of the messenger.
