If you still don’t know what ChatGPT is, we can only describe it as an artificial intelligence that drives everyone on the internet crazy. Now it seems that users have come out of their daze and are getting to work to use it for other things. For example, new Twitter bots that use ChatGPT to generate such natural responses as if it were written by some human.
The discovery was made by user @levelsio quite by accident. After tweet something to do with nomads, his tweet became quite popular on the platform, generating all sorts of responses. One of them especially intrigued him.and the thing is, even though @levelsio sounds human, he had the feeling that there was something else behind it. Maybe artificial intelligence like ChatGPT?
A brief investigation gave him the answer. A user named Pragyan Tripathi, who replied to his tweet earlier in the day, probably not human. However, his response and bio sounded like any other adult on Twitter, with careers such as educator, developer, and founder among his accomplishments.
It is interesting to observe how the way of life of nomads changed over time.
Whether you love trying new foods and experiences or sticking to a daily routine, the most important thing is to enjoy your trip and make the most of it.
Pragyan Tripathi, Twitter bot
“I had a hunch and I checked it,” Levels writes on his Twitter account. In the published image, he testifies to the reality of Tripathi and confirms that it was nothing more than a bot using ChatGPT to generate responses. In fact, according to the user, all of Tripathi’s tweets were most likely generated using this AI model.
Here’s how Levels confirmed that this Twitter user was a ChatGPT controlled bot.
You may wonder how Levels managed to confirm this. The answer is quite simple, and it lies in the fact that the user has chosen to attack fire with fire. To do this, he went to ChatGPT and asked the AI to create a response to the original tweet. Fast, the model offered an almost exact copy of Tripathi’s words.
After uploading all receipts to Twitter, Levels again received a response from Tripathiin which he confirmed that he was indeed using the AI-powered Twitter automation API ChatGPT.
“Lately I’ve been playing around with ChatGPT + Twitter’s automation API”, Tripathi replied to a tweet where Levels presented him with images to support his account.
However, Is Tripathi a full-fledged bot or is someone behind it? contraption contacted the user to find out his version of the story. Although Tripathi denied the accusations, he admitted that he had lost count of how many tweets were generated using ChatGPT artificial intelligence.
Birth of a new technological era
ChatGPT has been down for the public for only a month, and during this time, users have entrusted him with many tasks. It has even been said that it can replace search engines like Google due to its concise and natural responses to people’s most basic search queries.
Artificial intelligence can no longer be stopped. There was a powerful and special explosion in 2022, and we have seen models capable of generating images, while others are designed to generate videos, and some allow us to write entire articles with a few commands in between. There’s no doubt he’s here to stay, but it makes you wonder if we’re going to use him for good? After all, it is a tool like any other and has already exposed some of its most basic problems.
