Apple Watch Ultra with the advent of microLED will be presented in 2025, informed Ross Young, an analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants.
He refers to a report by Osram, which is an Apple supplier. Osram’s CEO said the company will publish reports on microLED displays from 2025.
The new Apple Watch Ultra is supposed to get a 2.1-inch screen. microLED has all the benefits of OLED but consumes less power, has a fast response time considering latency, and burns less.
The development of the Apple Watch Ultra with microLED is at an early stage, so the expected production and release model may shift.
