Users can now choose who sees their status updates. The last selection is saved and used by default for the next status update.
Also added a sound status to the messenger. Users can share up to 30 seconds of voice memos using this feature. There were also reactions to the situations of other people using emoji. Just swipe up and choose one of eight emoticons. The WhatsApp team claims that this feature is requested by the users themselves.
In addition, previews of links in the status appeared in the messenger. Now every time a user posts a link, a preview of their content is available to him.
