Top 10 news of the week (06/02 – 10/02)

Good morning! To stay up to date this Saturday (11), Technology World took apart everything that happened this week (6-10 February). In addition to various news about technology and science, the world of entertainment and games was also very active during this period.

Just Monday (06), Google introduced Bard, an artificial intelligence platform to compete with ChatGTP. On Wednesday (2008), we reported that Netflix may have used it in a kissing scene in the movie Certain Persons. Near the end of the week, Anatel announced that it will block signals from TV Box and pirated codecs.

1. Bard is Google’s new AI platform to rival ChatGPT. To compete with ChatGPT, Google introduced its natural language tool that provides more complex answers to questions.

6. IPTV: Anatel will block TV Box signals and pirated decoders. Anatel has announced a new plan aimed at blocking the signal of pirated TV Box devices in Brazil; I know how it works.

7. Google releases the first version of Android 14; see the news. The first preview build of Android 14 for developers has been surprisingly released and can now be installed on supported devices.

8. Motorola launched Moto G73, G53 with eSIM, G23 and E13 in Brazil. Motorola’s new smartphones are now available in Brazil and are updating the Moto G series with a new look.

9. Microsoft announces new Edge and Bing with ChatGPT: it will ‘change the web’. The new Microsoft Edge and Bing must “reshape the web” and are based on OpenAI’s ChatGPT artificial intelligence; I know how it works.
